Air Dry Coatings

We offer a range of air dry coatings including force dry and stoving finshes to customer specification.

Capacity: Our facilities are ideally suited to components upto 1m³ and 200kg.

Air Dry Systems: We offer a range of air dry coatings including one and two pack systems. Single pack air dry coatings are ideal for applications where secondary work will be carried out on the component such as welding. The component can then be touched up after instalation with a brush. Specialist two pack systems usually offer superior performance depending on the formula such as increased UV resistance, heat resistance and chemical resistance. Where appropriate force drying can be undertaken.

One Pack Systems: We offer a range of one pack coating systems including:

• Air Drying Alkyd Topcoat
• Air Drying Hammer Topcoat
• Brushing Topcoat
• One Pack Polyurethane Topcoat

Two Pack Systems: We offer a range of two pack coating systems including:

• Two Pack Polyurethane Topcoat
• Two Pack Epoxy Topcoat

Stove Enamelling: We offer a medium texture stoving topcoat which is available in a wide range of colours. Stove enamelling offers a distinctive surface finish with a dry film thickness of between 25-35µm and has good mar resistance. Stove enamelling tends to be associated with either defence applications or older drawing specifications.

Primers: We offer a two pack etch primer for the preperation of aluminium. We also offer a zinc rich primer for steel surfaces.

Masking: We offer full masking service to customer specification. Masking can be used to cover flat or curved surface areas as well as threads, holes, mating surfaces and areas where electronic contact is required.

Aqueous Degreasing: We offer inhouse aqueous degreasing using a hermetically sealed Everest system with a 900mmØ x 600mm high wire basket.

Colour Matching: We offer a colour matching service based on existing samples or corporate literature/logos etc.
