Special Coatings

We offer a number of special coatings as detailed below, and are always interested in offering customers finishes specific to their requirements be they aeospace, defence, marine, electronics or otherwise.

3M EC3960: This is a BMS5-89 qualified air drying, sprayable, curing adhesive primer offering good corrosion resistance and compatibility with other film adhesives.

3M EC3960 requires storage below 0°C and is kept onsite in a dedicated freezer unit.

Metalwork to be coated with 3M EC3960 must be pretreated with chromic acid anodising beforehand within very specific timesacles.
